This Easter long weekend in Albany becomes even more alive- as the Festival Of The Sea 2011 erupts into a whirling sea of fun, activities, entertainment, art, produce and flare! The festival runs through Saturday the 23rd April, and onto the following Sunday along with the regular Boatshed markets.
Come down and watch me create some simple but irresistable seafood delights on Saturday from 1-2pm, and again from 3-4pm. Here are the menus just to tease you, its going to be delish!
1-2pm:
Grilled lemon, chilli and fennel salted Albany Sardine fillets with salad of baby capers, mustard lettuce with lemon vinaigrette.
Panko and sesame crumbed herring fillets with Thai style dipping sauce.
Chilli tomato and fresh herb Blue Manna Crab.
3-4pm:
Prosciutto and parmesan grilled Sardine fillets with Radicchio, herb and parmesan crisps, and tartare sauce.
Crispy Australian Salmon with homemade chips and lemon.
Tempura Albany Rock Oysters with wasabi mayonnaise, toasted black sesame.
Have a taste of all these dishes and learn how easy it it so prepare them.
